How the Smart Meter 1CT-S eliminates waste
Without a smart meter, a solar hub injects a fixed power level selected in advance — 300 W, for example. If you are using only 180 W at that moment, the remaining 120 W is sent to the grid for free. The Smart Meter 1CT-S measures your actual power draw every few seconds (0 to 200 A range) and adjusts SolarFlow's output power in real time. Compact and mounted on a DIN rail, it connects via Ethernet, RS485 or Wi-Fi for reliable operation even without Internet access. Your Linky meter constantly approaches zero. No kWh produced is lost.

Plug the SolarFlow 800 Plus into a standard socket (230 V), connect the AB1000 battery using the supplied cable, and clip the Smart Meter 1CT-S current clamp around the phase cable in your consumer unit — without interrupting the power supply. The Zendure app completes the setup in a few clicks. For a self-consumption photovoltaic installation without injection and below 3 kWp, no prior declaration is generally required.

« Does it work if I do not have solar panels yet? »
Yes. The SolarFlow 800 Plus has a « charge from the grid » mode: schedule charging during off-peak hours (HC or Blue Tempo days), then it releases the energy during peak hours. You reduce your electricity bill even without solar production. When you add solar panels, the hub accepts them directly (VOC 11–55 V DC, 15 A max.).
« Do I need an electrician to install the Smart Meter 1CT-S in my consumer unit? »
Not necessarily. The supplied current clamp clips around the phase cable without a direct electrical connection or power interruption, and the unit then connects via Ethernet, RS485 or Wi-Fi. Most users complete this step in under 20 minutes. If you are unfamiliar with the inside of your consumer unit, our team can guide you by telephone on 04 49 42 00 99.
« Is 960 Wh enough for a full night? »
For one person or a couple without children, yes — LED lighting, an internet router, TV and charging generally represent 0,5 to 1 kWh per evening. For a household of 3 or 4 people or higher consumption, add one, two or three additional AB1000 modules to reach up to 3 840 Wh without replacing the hub.
« Do I need to declare this system to Enedis or the town hall? »
For a self-consumption installation without injection, as ensured by the Smart Meter 1CT-S, below 3 kWp, no prior declaration is generally required. No Consuel certification is required for a Plug & Play system connected to a standard socket. We recommend checking the regulations applicable to your specific situation.
