3,000 W microinverters do not exist: the technological and regulatory limit for residential microinverters is 2,000 W per device. The 3 × 1,000 W architecture also provides three independent circuits, maximum deployment flexibility and, if one microinverter is unavailable, the other two continue producing normally.
« Does this kit require an electrician for installation? »
Each of the 3 microinverters must be connected to a dedicated circuit in the electrical panel (NF C 15-100 standard). An electrician or experienced DIYer can complete this connection within a few hours. No Consuel certification is required below 3 kWp per microinverter. An online Enedis declaration completes the commissioning process.
