9 kWp: cover 1.5 times the average annual consumption
A French household consumes an average of 6,000 to 8,000 kWh/year. With 9 kWp facing south, the estimated yield reaches 9,000 to 12,000 kWh/year depending on the region — creating a significant surplus that the battery stores, that you inject into the grid, or that you can maximise through V2G. The Gateway HomeMax SP 12K handles up to 12 kWp at the input: you have room to increase the PV surface area.

Heat pump, EV charger, swimming pool: all uses covered
The 9 kW single-phase format is ideal for households already equipped or planning to add these systems. An air-to-water heat pump consumes 2,000 to 4,000 kWh/year; a 7 kW charging station charges an EV in 6 to 10 hours of solar production; a 50 m² swimming pool adds approximately 1,500 kWh/year. The mySigen EMS coordinates these uses to maximise self-consumption at all times.

Resilience
9 kW ready even when the grid fails
In island mode, the SigenStor powers priority circuits from the battery and panels without interruption. At 9 kW of output power, even the heat pump can continue operating — unlike 3 or 6 kW solutions that must shed equipment. V2H mode adds the electric vehicle battery as an additional reserve.

« What battery capacity do you recommend with this 9 kW solar kit? »
It depends on your equipment and schedule. As a general rule, aim for 1 kWh of storage per kWh consumed between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. A household of 4 people without a heat pump uses 7–8 kWh at night → 8–10 kWh is sufficient. With a heat pump in winter or overnight EV charging, allow for 12–15 kWh. Our team will calculate this with you when preparing the quotation: 04 49 42 00 99.

The vast majority of French detached homes are connected in single-phase with a 6 or 9 kVA subscription. The SigenStor 9 kW is designed for this situation. If your installation is three-phase or if your consumption exceeds 9 kW simultaneously, we offer three-phase Sigenergy solutions — request a tailored quotation.
« Is this system compatible with my current electricity subscription? »
Yes, the SigenStor operates in parallel with your existing subscription. With self-consumption without grid injection, no contractual change is necessary. In the event of surplus injection, an Enedis agreement is required. The system is compatible with all electricity suppliers, including dynamic-tariff offers that maximise savings through the mySigen EMS.

This solar kit offers the same power (9 kW AC, 9 kWp panels) with a battery capacity defined according to your profile. The 9 kW / 10 kWh model is preconfigured with two BAT 5.0 modules for immediate start-up. If you want to choose another capacity (8, 12 or 15 kWh), this solar kit gives you the freedom to size it your way.
