The right capacity from the outset
Oversizing the battery ties up unnecessary capital; undersizing it causes frustration. Our team analyses your electricity bill, schedule and equipment to recommend the capacity that maximises ROI. Basic rule: 1 kWh of energy storage per kWh consumed between 20h and 8h. A household of 3 people without specific equipment typically needs between 5 and 8 kWh — there is no need to pay for 15 kWh from the outset.

LFP: the safest chemistry on the market
Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry presents no risk of thermal runaway, unlike NMC batteries used in some electric vehicles. It maintains its performance from —20°C to +55°C, making it suitable for outdoor installations or unheated rooms. 6 000 guaranteed cycles, equivalent to more than 16 years with one daily cycle.

« What is the difference compared with the 6kW SigenStor systems with 8 kWh or 10 kWh? »
The 8 kWh and 10 kWh models are preconfigured with a fixed capacity, ideal if you already know what you need. This kit gives you the freedom to choose the exact capacity — whether 5, 6, 7, 12 kWh or any other value in multiples of 5 kWh. This is particularly useful if your consumption profile is unusual or if you want precise sizing before investing.

Not immediately, but that is precisely the benefit of investing in a future-ready infrastructure. When you switch to electric — today or in 5 years — SigenStor will already be V2H/V2G compatible with no modifications required. You pay nothing extra for this feature; it is built into the Gateway.
« Is 6 kW enough, or should I upgrade to 9 kW? »
6 kW covers almost all standard French households. Upgrade to 9 kW if you have a high-power heat pump (> 5 kW electrical), a fast charging point (>7 kW), or if you plan to install more than 7 kWp of solar panels in the future. If in doubt, our team will calculate it with you to avoid undersizing or over-investment.
