« Why choose 5 microinverters instead of a single central inverter? »
With a central inverter, a shaded panel reduces the production of the entire string. With 5 Enphase microinverters, each panel is independent: shading on a single panel does not affect the other four. It is also safer (DC voltage limited to 60V) and easier to diagnose.
« Do I need an electrician for the installation? »
No. This kit is designed for self-installation. The AC cabling between microinverters is connected in a daisy chain, and the final connection to your consumer unit is identical to that of a household appliance. The Enedis declaration can be completed online. Our team remains available on 04 49 42 00 99 if you have any doubts.
« What happens if a microinverter fails? »
The other 4 continue producing normally — there is no total interruption. The Enlighten app instantly alerts you and identifies the faulty module. The Enphase 25-year warranty covers replacement. This is one of the major advantages of the microinverter architecture.
