TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology is the next generation after PERC. It reduces electronic recombination losses and maintains its performance at high temperatures better than any other mass-market technology. LUNA 10 kWh: the battery designed for the SUN2000
Huawei's LUNA2000 battery is specifically designed for the SUN2000: native interface, direct serial communication and no intermediate converter. This results in higher round-trip efficiency than hybrid solutions with third-party converters. LFP chemistry ensures 4 000 cycles at 80% remaining capacity, or more than 10 years at one cycle per day.

14 panels, one roof, one day
The configuration is optimised for 14 portrait panels — approximately 28 m² of usable area. The supplied ESDEC kit is suitable for tiled, slate, flat or fibre-cement roofs. The Huawei DC and AC combiner boxes are preconfigured according to the manufacturer's recommendations (RCD certificate included in the documents). Commissioning via the FusionHome app at the end of the installation.

« Why 14 435W panels rather than 12 × 500W like other solar kits? »
The TrinaSolar Vertex S+ 435W panel is smaller (1762 × 1134 mm vs 1960 × 1134 mm for a 500W panel): 14 panels of this size will often fit where 12 500W panels would not. This is a real advantage for roofs with limited space or obstacles (roof windows, skylights). Total power is comparable: 6 090 Wp vs 6 000 Wp.
« Is the LUNA2000 battery included in the displayed price? »
Yes — the €9 892,62 price includes the 14 TrinaSolar panels, the SUN2000-6K inverter, the 10 kWh LUNA battery and the ESDEC racking system. This is a complete solar kit ready for installation. If you require a different energy storage capacity, contact us for an adjusted quote.
« What is the Huawei RCD certificate and is it mandatory? »
The RCD certificate (Declaration of Connection) is the Huawei document specifying the AC protection requirements for the SUN2000. It states in particular that the required residual-current device is Type A (not Type B), which simplifies installation and reduces the cost of the AC combiner box. This document is provided in the downloads on this page.
« Can I expand the battery beyond 10 kWh? »
Yes, the LUNA2000 is modular. The SUN2000-6K inverter supports up to 30 kWh of LUNA2000 battery capacity by combining several modules. Adding a module requires no modification to the inverter installation — only a connection to the existing battery bus. Contact us to find out the price of additional modules.
