Without a battery, the energy produced at midday is sent to the grid if you are away. With the SolarBank2, it is stored and released in the evening — when you actually consume energy. The typical self-consumption rate rises from 30–40% without energy storage to 85–95% with it. Result: between 227 € and 329 € saved each year, depending on your region.

The MC4 connectors are colour-coded and secure — making incorrect connection impossible. The SolarBank2 connects to a standard Schuko socket, and the integrated inverter automatically feeds energy into the grid. The Decree of 6 October 2023 authorises these installations up to 3 000 W without a grid connection. Balcony, terrace, roof or garden mounting — the supports adapt to every location.

Start with 2 500 Wp panels and 1.6 kWh of energy storage. Later, add a second pair of panels (up to 2 000 W PV input accepted) or a second SolarBank2 to double the energy storage to 3.2 kWh. No existing equipment needs replacing and no new wiring is required.
