Size your storage using your actual readings
Estimating your overnight consumption in advance is difficult. With the HYX-MS3000AC unit alone, the app measures the energy actually stored and delivered over several weeks. You can then add the exact number of useful modules, up to 5. Above 15 kWh combined, the XP C 15-712-3 guide imposes installation conditions that must be checked.

On its own, the HYX-MS3000AC unit fills in about 2 hours at 1 500 W, covering the entire ENGIE Happy Heures Vertes window. With one or more MS3000B modules, you store more energy during off-peak hours and periods of high production. You then use it during peak hours instead of buying electricity at the full rate.

Place it, connect it, and it is recognised
The module is placed on the floor next to the central unit. It connects via the integrated CAN bus using the supplied connector. The HYXiPOWER app detects the new block and updates the total capacity without manual reconfiguration. Two people are required for handling.

A module dedicated to the HYX-MS3000AC unit
The HYX-MS3000B is a passive battery block: it contains neither an inverter nor control electronics. The HYX-MS3000AC unit manages charging, discharging and communication with the grid. It cannot be connected to an inverter or battery from another brand.

Your questions answered
« Does this module work on its own? »
No. It must be paired with a HYX-MS3000AC central unit that is already installed or ordered at the same time. If you are starting from scratch, begin with the 3 kWh pack or a complete 6, 9 or 12 kWh configuration.
« How many modules can I add? »
Up to 5 modules on the same central unit, for a total of 18,086 kWh. Before adding 4 or 5 modules, check the installation conditions in the XP C 15-712-3 guide, which apply above 15 kWh.
« Can I add it later? »
Yes. The architecture is designed for progressive expansion. Add modules when your budget or consumption makes it worthwhile, without modifying the existing installation.
« Is adding it really that simple? »
The connection is limited to the supplied CAN connector, without touching the grid or meter. Some electrical knowledge is still useful for a straightforward installation. Our team can assist you on 04 83 58 04 79.
