The SigenStor BAT 8.0 battery uses LFP chemistry (lithium iron phosphate): no thermal runaway risk, 6,000 guaranteed cycles and a service life of more than 15 years. Capacity can be expanded simply by stacking additional modules — without replacing the Gateway or reconfiguring the system. The battery remains operational down to —20°C, making it ideal for continental regions.

AI that optimises without you having to think about it
The mySigen EMS integrates solar forecasts, your consumption habits and real-time electricity tariffs. It charges the battery when electricity is inexpensive (off-peak hours), discharges it during tariff peaks and anticipates cloudy days to adjust the charge level. Compatible with dynamic tariffs (Tempo EDF, Octopus Energy, etc.).
V2H (Vehicle-to-Home) mode allows a compatible electric vehicle to power the home during a grid outage — without a generator. V2G mode injects stored energy into the grid during peak hours. The DC EV charger (12 or 25 kW) and AC charger (7 kW) are integrated into the SigenStor ecosystem, with control via the mySigen app.

« What is the difference between this kit and a kit without a battery? »
Without a battery, energy not consumed in real time is injected into the grid (or lost if there is no surplus injection). With 8 kWh of energy storage, you recover this energy in the evening — potentially doubling your self-consumption rate and reducing your dependence on the grid by 70 to 80% during sunny months. The battery also makes the system resilient in the event of a power cut.
« Can I start with 8 kWh and increase it later? »
Yes — this is precisely the SigenStor philosophy. BAT modules stack without special tools and the Gateway automatically detects the new capacity. You can start with 8 kWh today and increase to 54 kWh at your own pace, according to your budget and usage.
« Does this system work in the event of a power cut? »
Yes, SigenStor has a backup function: during a grid outage, the system automatically switches to the battery and solar panels to power the home's critical circuits. With V2H mode, the battery of your compatible electric vehicle can also take over for extended autonomy.
